1000mods, a Greek band formed in 2006, stands as a prominent figure in stoner rock, blending heavy guitar riffs with psychedelic and grunge elements. Their performance on June 8, 2024, at the Freak Valley Festival in Netphen, Germany, was part of a tour promoting new material. The music performed featured thick, low-frequency guitar textures, pulsing basslines, and energetic vocal passages, crafting a dense sonic landscape. Dani Gkotsis’ vocals, ranging from gritty roars to melodic accents, and Giorgos Theodoropoulos’ rhythmic power harmonized with the festival stage’s open acoustics, immersing the audience in a hypnotic musical experience.
