This raw, high-energy footage captures AC/DC in December 1981 at the Capital Center in Landover, Maryland, during their massive "For Those About to Rock Tour." Following the monumental success of "Back in Black," this tour cemented the band's status as global rock titans. With Brian Johnson now firmly at the helm after the tragic death of Bon Scott, the band is a picture of confidence and power.
The performance is a testament to the band's signature, no-frills approach to rock and roll. On stage, a whirlwind of energy, Angus Young relentlessly commands the audience's attention with his iconic schoolboy uniform and searing guitar solos. Johnson's powerful, gritty vocals slice through the formidable rhythm section of Malcolm Young's driving guitar, Cliff Williams' steady bass, and Phil Rudd's powerful drumming. This video serves as a powerful snapshot of a band at its absolute peak, delivering a loud, defiant, and unforgettable rock spectacle.
