AIR, a French duo formed in 1995 by Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin, stands as a significant force in downtempo and electronic music, blending synthesizer textures with elements of pop and psychedelia. Their performance, recorded on July 8, 2017, at the Niemeyer Center in Avilés, Spain, for ARTE Concert in binaural format, was part of a tour promoting new material. The music performed featured layered synthesizer melodies, soft basslines, and atmospheric soundscapes, crafting an immersive sonic landscape. Vocal and instrumental parts, enhanced by binaural recording, harmonized with the acoustics of the futuristic hall, immersing listeners in a contemplative musical experience.
