Amyl and the Sniffers brought their signature brand of raw, unadulterated punk energy to the Lowlands Festival in Biddinghuizen, Netherlands, in 2026. Known for their electrifying live shows and the magnetic stage presence of frontwoman Amy Taylor, the Australian quartet delivered a blistering set that perfectly encapsulated their reputation as one of contemporary punk's most exhilarating acts. The performance, captured by VPRO 3voor12, a prominent Dutch music platform, showcased the band's relentless drive and their knack for crafting catchy, high-octane anthems.
The setlist was a powerhouse of tracks, featuring fan favorites and newer material that kept the crowd in a frenzy. From the explosive opener "Control" to the relentless "Do It Do It" and the anthemic "Guided by Angels," Amyl and the Sniffers left no stone unturned in their mission to ignite the festival grounds. The band even had a unique role in the festival's quirky atmosphere, with the YouTube description noting they "opened the bumper cars," a testament to their chaotic and fun-loving spirit. Tracks like "Capital," "Security," "Big Dreams," and "Some Mutts (Can't Be Muzzled)" further solidified their reputation for delivering unapologetic, high-energy rock 'n' roll. This Lowlands appearance was a testament to their growing international appeal and their ability to command any stage with their infectious, no-holds-barred approach to punk rock.
