In August 2024, Ukrainian techno duo ARTBAT—whose EP Flame (2021), Grammy-nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album, revived melodic techno with atmospheric textures and hits like "Upperground"—headlined the Steel Yard at Creamfields, one of Britain's premier electronic festivals launched in 1998 in Daresbury as a platform for house and techno emphasizing immersive shows. Their 60-minute DJ set, captured by Beatport at the Rockstar Energy Stage, embodied their European tour climax, where throbbing beats intertwined with samples like "All That Matters (Kölsch ft. Troels Abrahamsen remix)" and "Somebody That I Used to Know (ARTBAT Remix)" to forge a hypnotic flow under summer sun for tens of thousands. As part of Weekend 1 with FISHER and Solomun, this performance highlighted ARTBAT's role as performers transforming the festival grounds into a portal of emotional trance.
