Beartooth, the American band dishing out metalcore and post-hardcore since 2012, crafts fierce riffs and raw, emotional lyrics that hit you in the soul. Their gig on January 17, 2025, at KEMBA Live! in Columbus, Ohio, was all about keeping the crowd on edge. Caleb Shomo sang with such fire, his voice gritty and raging one moment, melodic the next, like the engine of the whole set. Zach Hutter and Will Deely’s guitars built a sonic wall, while Oshie Bichar’s bass and Connor Denis’s drums laid down a rhythm that shook your bones. The venue’s acoustics made every chord feel real, highlighting shifts from aggressive to lyrical moments. The crowd, singing and jumping, felt like they merged with this musical whirlwind.
