In July 2023, Polish black/death metal band Behemoth—genre pioneers with albums like I Loved You at Your Darkest (2018)—performed at Resurrection Fest EG, an annual heavy music festival launched in 2006 in Viveiro, Galicia, Spain, as a platform for metal emphasizing diversity among 50,000 attendees at Campo de Fútbol Celeiro. Their hour-long main stage set, captured professionally, embodied their European tour climax, where Adam "Nergal" Darski's aggressive riffs merged with Zbigniew "Inferno" Promiński's drum power and theatrical elements to spark collective ecstasy under summer skies. Featuring tracks like "Bartzabel", "Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer", and "O Father O Satan O Sun!", this show highlighted their leadership in modern extreme metal, turning the festival grounds into a realm of rebellion and unity.
