In May 2011, American pop-punk band Blink-182—at the peak of the Neighborhoods Tour supporting the album Neighborhoods, their first in eight years after a hiatus and marking a return to roots with alternative rock touches—performed at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, a 4,000-capacity venue known since 1995 as a rock show bastion in casino surroundings. The 90-minute set, captured in high quality, embodied tour climax, where Tom DeLonge's guitar riffs merged with Travis Barker's drum power and Mark Hoppus' vocal charisma to spark euphoria before a sold-out crowd. As part of their global comeback, this show underscored Blink-182's pioneer role in pop-punk, turning the casino hall into a realm of collective rebellion.
