On the eve of the 2024 MTV European Music Awards, Manchester's historic New Century Hall played host to an exclusive and intimate performance by one of Britain's most enduring rock acts, Bush. This special concert, part of the acclaimed MTV World Stage series, offered fans a rare opportunity to experience the band's raw power in a legendary venue, just one day before the main awards ceremony.
Led by the charismatic Gavin Rossdale, the band delivered a career-spanning set that ignited the crowd. The setlist was a perfect blend of nostalgia and modern rock, featuring iconic '90s anthems like 'Machinehead,' 'Everything Zen,' and 'Comedown.' The raw energy of these classics was balanced by the poignant, stripped-down performance of 'Glycerine' and the driving force of 'The Chemicals Between Us,' reminding everyone why Bush became a global phenomenon.
Beyond the hits, the band also showcased their continued creative vitality with tracks from their more recent work, including the powerful 'More Than Machines.' This performance was more than just a concert; it was a celebration of a 30-year legacy, demonstrating a band that remains as vital and compelling as ever. Captured in stunning detail, this show is a testament to Bush's lasting impact on the rock scene.
