Counterfeit’s performance at Woodstock Festival Poland in 2017 was a revelation for alternative rock fans, delivering a set brimming with raw energy and emotion. The festival, now known as Pol’and’Rock, took place in Kostrzyn nad Odrą, where the British band drew a passionate crowd under the August sky. Led by vocalist and actor Jamie Campbell Bower, Counterfeit forged an atmosphere of intense connection: their gritty guitar chords, throbbing basslines, and Bower’s piercing vocals, shifting from whispers to screams, brought tracks like "Close to Your Chest" and "For the Thrill of It" to life. That evening, Bower, with his signature intensity, leapt off the stage to sing among the audience, sparking a wave of excitement. They also played "Addiction," igniting a mosh pit in the crowd. Woodstock Festival Poland, with its ethos of freedom and support, provided the perfect setting for this performance, highlighting Counterfeit’s authenticity and fervor.
