Criolo played the Largo do Pelourinho stage in Salvador’s historic centre at 11pm on Tuesday 17 February 2026, the last night of Carnival. The Pelourinho concerts were free, and MV Bill and Luedji Luna played the same stage that night.
TVE Bahia broadcast the set live, and this recording of the broadcast runs to just over an hour. Criolo, a rapper from Grajaú on the south side of São Paulo, performs with a full band and percussion section, and the cameras cut between the stage and the crowd packed into the square between the colonial façades of the Pelourinho.
