In 2024, Dutch psychedelic rock band DeWolff—whose releases like Love, Death & In Between (2023) blend 70s retro vibes with modern groove, earning Edison Award nods—headlined Finkenbach Festival, a cult music event in Germany's Odenwald renowned for its intimate atmosphere and eclectic lineup from blues to rock. Their hour-long set, rich in improvisations and vigorous riffs, opened with the rhythmic drive of "Night Train," flowing into heartfelt "Heart Stopping Kinda Show" and "Will 'o the Wisp," lyrical "Tired of Loving You" and "Treasure City Moonchild," wrapping with "In Love" and "Natural Woman" amid applause, where brothers van de Poel and Robin Piso showcased live performance mastery. Fans and critics dubbed the show a "dynamic highlight" of the festival, affirming DeWolff's festival favorite status with millions of YouTube views.
