In 2017, the French reggae band Dub Inc—whose albums like Paradise fuse roots with dub and rap in French, English, and Kabyle, earning them European festival staple status with millions of YouTube views—performed at Przystanek Woodstock, Europe's largest free festival in Kostrzyn nad Odrą, drawing over 500,000 attendees. Their hour-long set, brimming with vibrant rhythms and social messages, opened with the uplifting groove of "Revolution," building intensity through "Dos à dos" and "Better Run," poignant "Triste Epoque" and "My Freestyle," the anti-war "Crazy Island" and "Murderer," wrapping with the epic "Grand Périple" amid cheers, where vocalists Komlan and Hakim Meridja ignited festival euphoria, foreshadowing their worldwide tours and Victoires du Reggae nods.
