In August 2025, British rock band Enter Shikari—from St Albans and pioneers of post-hardcore laced with electronics, whose album A Flash Flood of Colour (2012) revived the genre through punk aggression and synth blasts intertwined with political narratives—headlined Lokerse Feesten, the festival's 50th edition in Lokeren, Belgium, where their de Force tour climaxed the day alongside Bring Me The Horizon. The 50-minute performance, brimming with chaotic breakdowns and Rou Reynolds' improvisations, embodied their European jaunt's zenith, fusing rap-metal with EDM in an adrenaline vortex under summer skies to evoke collective ecstasy among tens of thousands. As part of their social justice campaign, this show turned the medieval town into a rebellion portal.
