In June 2025, Vans Warped Tour—revived after a six-year hiatus for its 30th anniversary as a 90s pop-punk quintessence with 100 acts on Long Beach shores—served as the stage for British post-hardcore band Enter Shikari, fusion pioneers of electronics and rap with a political bent, whose album A Flash Flood of Colour (2012) shattered genre boundaries. Their hour-long set, rife with chaotic breakdowns and Rou Reynolds' vocal improvisations, embodied the band's activist ethos, where critiques of capitalism echoed through the crowd. As part of their social justice campaign, this performance recalled how Enter Shikari transform festival grounds into rebellion grounds.
