In August 2005, American rock band Foo Fighters—at the peak of the In Your Honor tour supporting the self-titled double album (2005), their first with an acoustic side after One by One—performed at Rock en Seine, the annual festival launched in 2003 at Domaine de Saint-Cloud in Paris as a platform for alternative rock among 30,000 attendees. Their hour-long main stage set on August 26, captured in high quality, embodied the European tour climax, where Pat Smear's guitar riffs merged with Taylor Hawkins' drum power and Dave Grohl's vocal intensity to spark euphoria under summer skies. Featuring tracks like "In Your Honor", "Best of You", "Times Like These", and "Everlong", this show highlighted their veteran status in post-grunge, turning the festival grounds into a realm of collective unity.
