In July 2018, British punk-rock band Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes—formed in 2015 by ex-Gallows frontman Frank Carter and renowned for ferocious garage rock on Modern Ruin (2017)—performed at Resurrection Fest EG, an annual heavy music festival in Viveiro, Galicia, Spain, launched in 2006 as a platform for metalcore and punk with an underground focus. Their hour-long main stage set, captured in professional quality, embodied their European tour climax, where chaotic breakdowns and Carter's emotive delivery intertwined with Dean Richardson's guitar riffs to evoke collective ecstasy among thousands under summer skies. This performance highlighted their genre-disrupting role, turning the Galician arena into a realm of rebellion and unity.
