In April 2025, Italian electronic duo Giolì & Assia—whose album GIO & ASSIA (2023), blending house, techno, and indie with collaborations like Aluna and tracks such as "Vittoria," marked their European breakthrough post-Tomorrowland debut—performed at Palermo's Politeama Theatre, a 1899 historic hall in Sicily's heart famed as the "jewel of liberalism" for Verdi opera premieres and a symbol of the city's cultural revival. Their 60-minute set, part of the Resurrection Tour 2024 and their first solo show in native Sicily, embodied the world tour's climax, where Giolì's throbbing beats intertwined with Assia's vocal improvisations to ignite euphoria before a sold-out crowd. Closing the tour for 1,500 attendees, this performance highlighted the duo's role as performers transforming the theater into a portal of emotional trance.
