In December 2019, Italian electronic duo Giolì & Assia—whose early EP Giolì & Assia (2018) marked their breakthrough in the house scene with a fusion of electronics, indie, and Assia's vocal loops—performed a handpan set for #DiesisLive, Diesis Music's series of intimate concerts launched in 2018 as a platform for live sessions in exotic locales, where Episode 05 formed part of the performance at the base of Etna Volcano in Sicily, just 20 minutes from their Trapani home. The 30-minute set, filmed by directors Graziano Piazza and Marco Drillo with drone footage over the crater, embodied their lockdown tour climax, where Giolì's finger techniques on the handpan wove a meditative flow blending the premiere of "For You" to evoke hypnotic catharsis for a small audience. As a rare artifact of their shift from club roots to immersive acts, this show transmuted the Sicilian volcano into a portal of emotional trance.
