In September 2020, Italian electronic duo Giolì & Assia—whose early EP Giolì & Assia (2018) marked their breakthrough in the house scene with a fusion of electronics, indie, and Assia's vocal loops—performed a handpan set for #DiesisLive, Diesis Music's series of intimate concerts launched in 2018 as a platform for live sessions in exotic locales, where Episode 06 formed part of the performance at Punta Bianca, a dramatic clifftop in Agrigento, Sicily—just 20 minutes from their Trapani home—with views of the Mediterranean and ancient ruins. The 30-minute set, filmed by directors Graziano Piazza and Marco Drillo with drone footage over the cliffs, embodied their lockdown tour climax, where Giolì's finger techniques on the handpan wove a meditative flow blending unreleased tracks like "Hands On Me" to evoke hypnotic catharsis for a small audience. As a rare artifact of their shift from club roots to immersive acts, this show transmuted the Sicilian cape into a portal of emotional trance.
