Step into the vibrant world of Gorillaz with this electrifying full-show recording from Switzerland's iconic Gurtenfestival in July 2018. Taking the stage on the scenic Gurten mountain overlooking Bern, Damon Albarn and his sprawling live band delivered a masterclass in genre-blending performance. This show was part of the tour supporting their then-newly released album, 'The Now Now,' and the setlist is packed with fresh cuts from that record, including the breezy 'Humility,' the funky 'Tranz,' and the introspective 'Souk Eye.'
But the virtual band didn't forget their roots. The performance is a journey through their entire celebrated discography, seamlessly weaving new material with timeless classics. The crowd erupts for anthems like 'Feel Good Inc.,' 'Clint Eastwood,' and the melancholic beauty of 'On Melancholy Hill.' Deeper cuts such as 'Last Living Souls' and 'Every Planet We Reach Is Dead' showcase the band's musical depth and versatility.
