In October 2016, American punk-rock band Green Day—at the peak of the Revolution Radio Tour supporting their first album in four years after the ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré! trilogy—delivered an intimate concert at KROQ's Red Bull Sound Space in Los Angeles, the radio station's small venue known since the 2010s for exclusive live sessions before 100–150 attendees. Their 40-minute set, captured in high quality before a limited crowd, embodied the American tour climax, blending classics like "Basket Case" with new tracks such as "Bang Bang" and "Revolution Radio" to spark euphoria among those present. As part of the promo campaign, this performance highlighted their veteran status, turning the studio into a realm of collective unity.
