In October 2018, American rock band Greta Van Fleet—from Frankenmuth, Michigan, and riding the wave of their debut album Anthem of the Peaceful Army, which had just topped Billboard Rock Charts—delivered an intimate session for KCRW Morning Becomes Eclectic, the legendary Santa Monica radio show known since 1977 for live studio performances before small audiences. Their 30-minute set, captured in high quality, embodied their nascent breakthrough era, where Josh Kiszka's guitar riffs merged with Jake Kiszka's vocal power in a minimalist format to evoke warm resonance among listeners. Featuring tracks like "When the Curtain Falls" and "Watching Over", this performance highlighted their role in reviving classic rock, turning the studio into a space of nostalgia and energy.
