In June 2018, as part of the Not in This Lifetime… Tour—the most successful reunion of the classic lineup with Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan after a 23-year hiatus—Guns N' Roses performed at Download Festival in Donington, UK, where their set headlined alongside Foo Fighters and Ozzy Osbourne. The 90-minute performance, captured in high quality for the Not in This Lifetime Selects series, embodied the tour's peak, where Slash's guitar riffs merged with Rose's vocal power, and covers like "Wish You Were Here" with guests amplified emotional intensity before 90,000 under summer skies. This show underscored their veteran status, turning the festival grounds into a realm of collective triumph.
