In June 1992, Guns N' Roses—at the peak of the Use Your Illusion Tour, rock's longest and most expensive (192 shows, 7 million attendees)—performed at Hippodrome de Vincennes in Paris before 55,000 fans. The 90-minute set, professionally recorded and later remastered in high quality, captured the band at their zenith: Axl Rose in full charisma, Slash with iconic solos, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum on rhythm, Gilby Clarke on guitar, and Dizzy Reed on keys. They delivered nearly every major track from Use Your Illusion I & II, including "November Rain" with orchestral parts, "Civil War", and "Knockin' on Heaven's Door", plus classics like "Sweet Child o' Mine" and "Welcome to the Jungle". This show became a benchmark European performance of the tour, showcasing maximum scale before internal strife and lineup changes.
