Kicking off the 2022 edition of the iHeartRadio ALTer EGO festival with an explosive set, Imagine Dragons took the stage at the iconic Forum in Inglewood, California. The band immediately set a high-energy tone, launching into their hit 'Believer' as confetti rained down on the ecstatic crowd. This performance was a powerful showcase of the Las Vegas rockers' arena-sized sound and their ability to connect deeply with a live audience.
Frontman Dan Reynolds was particularly engaging, sharing personal stories and heartfelt messages between songs. Before a moving performance of 'Demons,' he spoke candidly about his past struggles with anxiety and depression, emphasizing the strength found in seeking therapy and telling the audience, 'your life is always worth living.' The setlist was a masterclass in modern rock anthems, featuring fan favorites like 'Whatever It Takes' and 'Thunder,' alongside 'Enemy,' their recent hit from the animated series 'Arcane.' The show culminated in a spectacular finale with their breakout single 'Radioactive,' leaving the audience breathless. This concert captured the band at a pivotal moment, supporting their album 'Mercury - Act 1' and reminding everyone why they are one of the biggest live acts in the world.
