In September 2018, American pop-rock band Imagine Dragons—at the peak of the Evolve World Tour supporting Evolve (2017) with hits like "Thunder" and "Believer"—headlined Lollapalooza Berlin, the German edition launched in 2015 at the former Tempelhof Airport and Olympiastadion as a platform for pop, indie, and electronics among 70,000 attendees. Their 90-minute main stage set on September 9, captured in high quality, embodied their European tour climax, where Wayne Sermon's guitar riffs merged with Daniel Platzman's drum power and Dan Reynolds' vocal intensity to spark euphoria under Berlin skies. Part of a lineup with The Weeknd and Kraftwerk, this show highlighted their 2010s pop-rock leadership, turning the ex-airport into a realm of collective triumph.
