In June 2022, American pop-rock band Imagine Dragons—at the peak of the Mercury World Tour supporting the double album Mercury — Acts 1 & 2 (2021–2022), marking their shift to a more mature and cinematic sound after Evolve—headlined Pinkpop, Europe's oldest annual festival launched in 1970 in Landgraaf, Netherlands. Their 90-minute main stage set on June 19, captured in high quality, embodied their European tour climax, where Wayne Sermon's guitar riffs merged with Daniel Platzman's drum power and Dan Reynolds' vocal intensity to spark euphoria among tens of thousands under summer sun. Featuring tracks like "Radioactive", "Believer", and "Bones", this show highlighted their role as 2010s stadium pop-rock leaders, turning the festival grounds into a realm of collective triumph.
