In August 2018, American pop-rock band Imagine Dragons—at the peak of the Evolve World Tour supporting Evolve (2017), marking their shift to a more electronic and cinematic sound after Smoke + Mirrors—headlined Pukkelpop, one of Belgium's largest festivals launched in 1985 in Hasselt among 66,000 attendees at Kiewit. Their 90-minute main stage set on August 18, captured in high quality, embodied the European tour climax, where Wayne Sermon's guitar riffs merged with Daniel Platzman's drum power and Dan Reynolds' vocal intensity to spark euphoria under summer skies. Featuring tracks like "Radioactive", "Thunder", and "Believer", this show highlighted their role as 2010s stadium pop-rock leaders, turning the festival grounds into a realm of collective triumph.
