In November 2020, American pop-rock band Imagine Dragons—amid tour cancellations due to the pandemic and preparing for Mercury – Act 1 (2021)—delivered the virtual concert "Imagine Dragons: Live at the Lock Up", their first major online show in support of the #SaveOurStages fund. Recorded at their own Studio 606 in Los Angeles (the same space used by Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers), the 90-minute stream featured acoustic takes on hits ("Radioactive", "Demons", "Believer"), new tracks like "Follow You" and "Cutthroat", plus covers "Stand by Me" and "It's Time". With Dan Reynolds' emotive delivery and improvisations before a minimal band, it embodied the lockdown period climax, sparking collective resonance among millions. This show highlighted their role as 2010s stadium pop-rock leaders, turning the studio into a space of emotional unity.
