In July 2022, British acid jazz band Incognito—led by Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick and at the peak of their tour supporting Tales from the Beach (2008)—performed at Jazz San Javier, an annual festival launched in 1998 in San Javier, Murcia, Spain, as a platform for jazz, funk, and soul at Auditorio Parque Almansa among 3,000 attendees. Their 90-minute set, captured in high quality, embodied the European tour climax, where Francis Hylton's funky bass lines merged with vocals from Vanessa Haynes and Tony Momrelle, while brass sections evoked 70s vibes to spark euphoria under Mediterranean sun. This show highlighted Incognito's veteran status in British funk, turning the auditorium into a realm of collective groove.
