In July 2018, American blues-rock guitarist Jackie Venson—from Austin and at the peak of her tour supporting Joy (2019)—performed at Open Air Blues Festival Brezoi, an annual event launched in 2018 in Brezoi, Romania, as a platform for blues and rock among 10,000 attendees in the picturesque Carpathian valley. Her hour-long main stage set on July 21, captured in high quality, embodied her European tour climax, where technical Gibson ES-335 solos merged with emotive vocals and funky riffs from her band to evoke warm resonance under Romanian sun. Featuring tracks like "Joy", "Rollin' On", and "Make Me Feel", this show highlighted her role as a leading modern blues guitarist, turning the festival stage into a space of genuine unity.
