In November 2017, British acid jazz-funk band Jamiroquai—led by Jay Kay and at the peak of their tour supporting Automaton (2017), marking a return to electronic funk after a 7-year hiatus—performed at AccorHotels Arena (now Accor Arena) in Paris, a 20,000-capacity venue where their show became the European tour climax. The 90-minute set on November 29, captured in high quality, embodied the band in its classic form: Rob Harris' funky bass lines merged with Matt Johnson's keys and Jay Kay's vocal intensity to spark euphoria before a sold-out crowd. Featuring tracks like "Space Cowboy", "Virtual Insanity", "Cosmic Girl", and "Automaton", this performance highlighted their role as 90s–2000s British funk pioneers, turning the Parisian arena into a realm of collective groove.
