Jamiroquai — Live Concert at Rock in Rio Madrid Festival, Arganda del Rey, Madrid, Spain, 2008

In July 2008, British acid jazz-funk band Jamiroquai—led by Jay Kay and at the peak of their tour supporting High Times: Singles 1992–2006 (2006)—performed at Rock in Rio Madrid, the Spanish edition launched in 2008 in Arganda del Rey, Madrid, as a platform for rock, pop, and funk among 90,000 attendees at La Cubierta de Leganés. Their hour-long main stage set on July 4, captured in high quality with improved video and audio, embodied the European tour climax, where Rob Harris' funky bass lines merged with Matt Johnson's keys and Jay Kay's vocal intensity to spark euphoria under Madrid skies. Featuring tracks like "Space Cowboy", "Virtual Insanity", "Canned Heat", and "Deeper Underground", this show highlighted their role as British funk pioneers, turning the festival grounds into a realm of collective groove.
