In November 2020, American blues-rock guitarist John Mayer—one of the leading modern bluesmen with over 10 million album sales and Grammy nominations—delivered the virtual concert "Current Mood", his first major online show during the pandemic, recorded in his Montana home studio for fan club members. The 90-minute performance, captured in high quality and streamed exclusively, embodied the lockdown period climax, where technical Fender Stratocaster solos merged with emotive vocals in minimalist format to evoke resonance for thousands online. Featuring tracks like "Gravity", "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room", "New Light", and "I Guess I Just Feel Like", this show highlighted his mastery of blues, turning virtual space into a portal of genuine guitar dialogue.
