In September 2024, British neo-soul/funk band Jungle—led by Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland and at the peak of their tour supporting Volcano (2023)—delivered a session for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge, the legendary series at Maida Vale Studios in London known for live performances and covers before a small audience. Their 20-minute performance, captured in high quality, embodied the promo tour climax, where funky bass lines merged with vocal harmonies and percussion from the expanded band to evoke warm resonance among listeners. Featuring originals like "Back on 74" and a hit cover, this show highlighted their role as modern neo-soul pioneers, turning the studio into a realm of collective groove.
