In June 2024, Berlin-based retro-rock band Kadavar—pioneers of modern psychedelic and stoner rock with albums like Berlin (2015) and Rough Times (2017)—performed at Freak Valley Festival, a cult open-air event in Netphen-Deuz, Germany, sharing the bill with Amyl and the Sniffers, Osees, and Monolord. Their hour-long main stage set on June 1, captured professionally by Rockpalast, embodied the tour climax, where Christoph "Lupus" Lindemann's heavy riffs merged with Christoph "Tiger" Bart's drum power and vocals to spark euphoria among thousands under summer skies. Featuring tracks like "Forgotten Past", "Doomsday Machine", "Come Back Life", and "Die Baby Die", this show highlighted their role in reviving 70s rock, turning the festival grounds into a realm of collective groove.
