In June 2022, Berlin-based retro-rock band Kadavar—pioneers of modern psychedelic and stoner rock with albums like Berlin (2015)—performed at Hellfest, one of Europe's largest heavy music festivals launched in 2006 in Clisson, France. Their 45-minute Valley Stage set on June 25, captured professionally by ARTE Concert, embodied the tour climax, where Christoph "Lupus" Lindemann's heavy riffs merged with Christoph "Tiger" Bartelt's drum power to spark euphoria under summer skies. Featuring tracks like "All Our Thoughts", "Black Sun", "Die Baby Die", "Into the Wormhole", and a cover of "Helter Skelter" (The Beatles), this show highlighted their role in reviving 70s rock, turning the festival stage into a realm of collective groove.
