In January 2021, Berlin-based retro-rock band Kadavar—pioneers of modern psychedelic and stoner rock with albums like Berlin (2015)—delivered their second studio live session Vol. II at Blue Wall Studio in Berlin, a continuation of the Isolation Tapes during the pandemic. The 80-minute performance, captured in high quality and released on January 14, 2021, embodied the lockdown era climax, where Christoph "Lupus" Lindemann's heavy riffs merged with Christoph "Tiger" Bartelt's drum power and Simon Bouteloup's bass lines to evoke resonance for fans online. Featuring tracks like "All Our Thoughts", "Black Sun", "Forgotten Past", "Goddess of Dawn", "Creature of the Demon", and "Purple Sage", this show highlighted their role in reviving 70s rock, turning the studio into a realm of collective groove.
