In July 2023, Icelandic blues-rock band Kaleo—at the peak of their tour supporting Surface Sounds (2021)—performed at Super Bock Super Rock, an annual festival launched in 1995 in Lisbon, Portugal, as a platform for alternative music among 50,000 attendees at Meco Beach. Their hour-long main stage set on July 15, captured in high quality, embodied their European tour climax, where Jökull Júlíusson's guitar riffs merged with Davíð Antonsson's drum power and emotive vocals to spark euphoria under Portuguese sun. Featuring tracks like "Way Down We Go", "All the Pretty Girls", "Break My Baby", and "Skinny", this show highlighted their role as modern blues-rock leaders, turning the festival grounds into a realm of collective unity.
