In July 2015, British indie-rock band Kasabian—led by Tom Meighan and Sergio Pizzorno, at the peak of their tour supporting 48:13 (2014)—delivered a festival set at T in the Park, the iconic Scottish event relocated to Strathallan Castle in Auchterarder after years at Balado. Their July 10 main stage performance before tens of thousands became a day highlight alongside The Libertines and Avicii. The 90-minute show, captured in high quality, caught the band at full strength: Chris Edwards' pulsing guitars and Ian Matthews' drums backed Meighan's charisma, with the crowd singing every hit. Opening with "Bumblebeee", flowing through "Shoot the Runner", "Underdog", "eez-eh", "Club Foot", "Re-Wired", "Empire", and closing with "Praise You/L.S.F.", it was a triumph of British indie-rock on Scottish soil.
