In July 2017, British indie-rock band Kasabian—led by Tom Meighan and Sergio Pizzorno, at the peak of their tour supporting For Crying Out Loud (2017)—delivered a powerful set at TRNSMT Festival, the inaugural edition at Glasgow Green, headlining Saturday before 50,000 attendees. The 90-minute performance, captured in high quality, captured the band in festival mode: Chris Edwards' guitar riffs and Ian Matthews' drums backed Meighan's charisma, with the crowd singing every word. Opening with "Ill Ray (The King)", flowing into "Bumblebeee", "Underdog", "Shoot the Runner", "You're in Love with a Psycho", "Club Foot", "Re-Wired", "Treat", "Praise You/L.S.F.", and closing with "Fire". This gig became a standout of the debut TRNSMT, proving Kasabian's festival king status.
