In July 2023, British rock band Kasabian—whose albums like West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (2009), with over 2 million copies sold, epitomized indie rock laced with electronics and Britpop—performed at TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow, Scotland, marking Sergio Pizzorno's debut as frontman following Tom Meighan's departure. The hour-long set brimmed with relentless energy and improvisations, underscoring the band's evolution to a new phase where Pizzorno fused charisma with raw emotion, igniting festival euphoria amid the rain. The performance stood out for balancing nostalgia from early hits with fresh arrangements, reinforcing Kasabian's mastery of live shows capable of electrifying crowds in drizzly Scottish weather.
