In November 2025, British indie-rock band Keane—led by Tom Chaplin and at the peak of their tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hopes and Fears (2004)—performed at Corona Capital Sessions in Mérida, a special edition of the festival at Estadio Carlos Iturralde, sharing the bill with Phoenix and Passion Pit before thousands. The 90-minute set, captured in high quality, caught the band in emotive form: Tim Rice-Oxley's keyboard textures and Richard Hughes' guitar parts backed Chaplin's vocal intensity to evoke nostalgic response under Mexican skies. Featuring tracks like "Somewhere Only We Know", "Everybody's Changing", "Bedshaped", and "This Is the Last Time", this show became a standout moment of Keane's return to Mexico after a previously canceled gig.
