In November 2019, British indie-rock band Keane—led by Tom Chaplin and at the peak of their tour supporting Cause and Effect (2019), their first after a 7-year hiatus—performed at Jockey Club Paraguayo in Asunción. The 90-minute set before thousands became the Latin American tour climax, where Tim Rice-Oxley's keyboard textures backed Chaplin's vocal intensity. Their first in Paraguay, the show marked a standout moment of Keane's comeback with emotive renditions of classics and new tracks.
