In September 2023, American psychedelic stoner-rock band King Buffalo from Rochester performed at RippleFest Texas, an independent San Antonio festival dedicated to heavy psychedelic rock and stoner, where their September 23 set became a highlight alongside Stoner and Wo Fat. Captured in high quality, the show caught the band at full strength: Dan Reynolds' heavy guitar riffs and vocals, Sean McVay's bass lines, and Scott Donaldson's drums crafted a prolonged psychedelic trip under Texas sun. Including material from Regenerator (2022) and older hits, where stoner power merged with post-rock textures and Reynolds' vocals added melancholic depth. This gig—a standout tour moment—proved their mastery in epic sound on an open stage.
