In August 2018, Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard—led by Stu Mackenzie and at the peak of their tour supporting multiple albums like Polygondwanaland and Gumboot Soup—delivered a festival set at Lowlands in Biddinghuizen, Netherlands. Their performance became one of the most energetic moments alongside Gorillaz and The War on Drugs before tens of thousands at Walibi Holland. Captured professionally, the show caught the band at full strength: Amby Kenny-Smith and Cook Craig's guitar riffs backed Michael Cavanagh's drums, while Mackenzie's vocals added mad charm, creating an endless jam feel with garage rock and kraut elements. This gig—pure King Gizzard magic: chaos, energy, and invention, with the crowd fully immersed in their psychedelic whirlwind.
