In September 2024, Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard—led by Stu Mackenzie and at the peak of their tour supporting albums like Flight b741 (2024)—performed at St. Augustine Amphitheatre, a 4,100-capacity open-air venue in St. Augustine, Florida, as part of the North American leg. Captured professionally as the official bootleg Live in St. Augustine '24 (with soundboard mix and STEMs on Bandcamp), the show caught the band at full strength: Amby Kenny-Smith and Cook Craig's guitar riffs backed Michael Cavanagh's drums, while Mackenzie's vocals added mad charm. The St. Augustine night—a standout tour moment—proved their mastery of live chaos and invention.
