In March 2024, American rock band Kings of Leon—led by Caleb Followill and at the peak of their tour supporting Can We Please Have Fun (2024)—performed at Vive Latino, Latin America's largest festival in Mexico City. Their main stage set at Foro Sol became Saturday's headlining moment alongside Maná and Scorpions before 80,000 attendees. Captured professionally, the show caught the band at full strength: Matthew and Nathan Followill's guitar riffs backed Jared Followill's bass and Nathan's drums, while Caleb's vocals added emotional depth with southern charm. Running through "Ballroom Blitz" (intro), "On Call", "The Bucket", "Sex on Fire", "Use Somebody", "Mustang", and "Closer"—a mix of stadium rock with melancholy and energy, with the crowd singing every chorus under Mexican sun. This gig—a standout tour moment—proved their status as alternative rock kings.
