In June 2016, American nu-metal legends Korn—led by Jonathan Davis and in full lineup with James "Munky" Shaffer, Brian "Head" Welch, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, and Ray Luzier—performed at Hellfest, one of Europe's largest heavy music festivals in Clisson, France. Their main stage set on June 18 became the day's climax alongside Rammstein and Slayer before 60,000 attendees. Captured in high quality, the show caught the band in aggressive and emotional form: heavy 7-string riffs, Fieldy's bass thumps, and Luzier's drum barrage backed Davis' screaming and emotional outbursts to create total madness. The crowd went wild through classics and tracks from The Serenity of Suffering—masks, jumps, sweat, and pure mid-2010s adrenaline. This gig—one of Korn's most powerful and fierce moments at Hellfest—proved their energy remains undimmed after 20+ years.
